Enjoy a Night Out

On Antarctic Snow

Spend a night laying on Antarctic snow, watching the drama of endlessly changing light or listening to scurrying penguins or rambling icebergs. Limited to just 30, its one of the most unique memorable experiences

Go Kayaking

If paddling is an activity you greatly enjoy, sign up to participate for kayaking with an intimate group of just 8, guided by a professional

Snorkelling

Snorkel directly from your Zodiacs, encountering polar marine life, and sometimes shipwrecks. During these snorkel sessions, you may observe penguins, fur seals, and perhaps even leopard seals.

Go for Hikes

Join the expedition team as they invite you to hike through snow and ice-filled wilderness of Antarctica. Hike up to view points, walk among seals or penguins, visit a rookery.

And some Long Hikes

if you like

Long walks in Antarctica are designed for small groups of up to 24 passengers, accompanied by at least two expedition staff with experience in this terrain. These walks offer an immersive experience in the pristine polar landscape, requiring participants to be prepared for up to six hours of hiking on semi-rough, rocky and snowy terrain with notable elevation changes. While the pace will be steady and manageable, the conditions can be demanding and change quickly. A good level of fitness and willingness to walk for extended periods are essential. The total duration will vary depending on site conditions and explore the untouched expanses of the Antarctic wilderness. For those who prefer not to join the long hikes, alternative activities or shore landings will be available during this time.

Enjoy Zodiac Cruising

At places not accessible by ship, the expedition team will take you on land on sturdy inflated rubber boats, to observe stunning wildlife, watch icebergs up close, or simply admire the views of particular site.

Get Offshore

Sometimes you make a landing at places some may have never set foot before! With aim to get off ship 1-2 times a day, expect to visit abandoned whaling stations, research stations, see e a rookery, or climb up hills

Penguins

Sighting them in real, is a spectacle on its own! During your sailing in peak summer, penguin rookeries will be at full capacity, with adults rearing their chics - Gentoos, Chinstraps, Adèlie

Seals

While, sighting the crab eaters will be common, we'll just be in time to see weaning of the Leopard & weaning cum rearing of Antarctic fur seals. The weddel seals chicks which have by now become adults will be found molting if spotted

Whales

December sees the arrival back of hungry humpback whales from tropical waters. Expect to spot fin, minke, orcas, southern right & sperm whales among others, all just beginning to arrive for the annual feeding season

Birds

With this peak summer season marking the breeding time for wandering albatross, expect to see shearwaters, petrels, blue-eyed shags, cormorants, sheathbills, skuas, gulls & terns at various different times
