While the sun is hidden under the horizon, Longyearbyen becomes a magical place lit only by street-lamps, the northern lights and the moon which glitters in the snow. The atmosphere is completely unique, and as you experience this mystical darkness you will know you are a long way from the beaten track.
Between Nov-Jan every year, the sun is at least 6 degrees under the horizon at all times, resulting in dark blue skies. A unique experience on its own, on this tour you'll live a dark life on earth & appreciate its night-time wonders

A glittering world made by the summer meltwater running through the ancient ice, exploring this amazing underworld with its open halls, tight passages and thick layers of ice crystals.
Part of your ice caving experience, start from the top of town & continue with a snow-shoe hike to about 400 metres above sea level to a glacier. After about one & a half hours we will arrive at the entrance to the cave.
