Listen the experience first hand

Visit a reconciliation village to hear from the perpetrators & victims themselves what state were they into. Talking to the people, & seeing them live together happily will help you understand different ways to heal from a dark past

Learn what caused one of the world's most horrific tragedies

Serving to educate about how genocide against the Tutsi took shape, the wall of names, relics, remains, exhibits, burial ground, makes one contemplate how everyone has a personal responsibility to prevent discrimination & mass atrocity.

Live a day of rural Rwandan

An interactive experience, we invite you to an artisan woman's house to help her in daily chores and learn about their culture up-close

Be part of Umuganda

Rwandan community service

An old tradition of Rwanda, participate with the locals in their mandatory service taking place last Saturday of every month, and feel the spirit of community involvement

Meet a gorilla family

Witnessing them in their most natural habitat is an extraordinary experience. The sight of mama gorilla lovingly caressing her baby, the silverback walking, or the juveniles playing is a sensory memory, that deeply moves the heart of many

See the notorious chimps

Unlike the mountain gorillas, Chimpanzees are very vocal & mobile. They are famous for being heard from a distance, before finally catching a sight of hopping across tree tops, foraging some fruits or hunting for mammals.

And look out for many others

During the nature treks in Nyungwe, spot elusive L'Hoest's monkey, endemic to Albertine Rift, the shy Owl Faced Monkeys, Dent's Mona, the not really blue, blue monkeys! We might also just run into Olive baboons and vervet during our exploration

Dare to walk through the Canopy

If you fear heights, this will be a very exhilarating experience for you! Suspended 70m high, this 160m long walkway offers a fantastic view of the ancient tree tops & wildlife of Nyungwe National park, through which you trek to get to this section

Trek to the largest waterfall of Nyungwe National Park

A trail that is a must experience on list of many explorers. Early in the morning, walk past open-air tea farms, amidst butterflies hovering over wildflowers, on trails winding up & down steep hillsides, that are densely vegetated

How your participation makes the difference

10% of the revenue from gorilla trekking permits are used for conservation & community development, so your Rwanda gorilla trek will directly contribute to the protection of these beautiful creatures & the surrounding communities
