Expedition Overview

This essential Antarctic journey is for those who prefer a very active, intimate and comfortable time at the White continent! On board a small 200 passenger capacity ship, enjoy exploring the Antarctic peninsula with its iconic wildlife and scenery: icebergs in all shape and sizes, thousands of penguins, narrow waterways surrounded by majestic peaks rising out of the sea and scientific research stations.

Enjoy Zodiac Cruising

Achieve the best views and photographs from forward- facing Explorer Boats. These unique watercraft allow you to sit comfortably and securely while crackling through the ice-strewn waters. Look out for wildlife such as penguins, seals and whales as you cruise the polar wilderness

Paddle one-off

Enjoy an unforgettable experience on the water, taking in the breathtaking surroundings of Antarctica, whilst accompanied by Expedition Day Paddle Guides. Expertly guided, one-off, day paddle excursions in stable, sit-on-top inflatable kayaks give you the rare chance to see Antarctica from the same perspective as most of the wildlife – at the surface of the sea. No previous kayaking experience is required

If paddling is an activity you greatly enjoy, In small groups of 16 kayakers, under full instruction from Expedition Kayak Guides, experience true tranquillity as you paddle through clinking ice floes in awe of the enormity of the surrounding scenery. Previous kayaking experience and a good level of fitness is required. Single and double sea kayaks are available

Polar Plunge

This is the ultimate adrenaline rush. Once per expedition, you will have the opportunity to plunge yourself safely into the icy waters of Antarctica. Make sure you have a non-plunging friend with a camera at the ready to capture this uniquely exhilarating event

Go Snowshoeing

Get a spring in your step when you clip on a pair of snowshoes in Antarctica. Enabling you to easily scale gentle slopes, this unique activity allows you to access hard to reach places and seek out the most impressive views

Yoga

It doesn’t get more serene than a complimentary onboard yoga classes to the tune of glacial scenery. Join the most unique exercise setting in the world after a day of exploration. Classes are regular but are dependent on weather conditions and swell

Daily Lectures

Your inspiring expedition team are a talented bunch of historians, biologists, geologists and conservationists. Enjoy daily lectures on fascinating Antarctic subject matter which will leave you just as passionate about this wilderness as they are

Penguins

Sighting them in real, is a spectacle on its own! During your sailing in peak summer, penguin rookeries will be at full capacity, with adults rearing their chics - Gentoos, Chinstraps, Adèlie

Seals

While, sighting the crab eaters will be common, we'll just be in time to see weaning of the Leopard & weaning cum rearing of Antarctic fur seals. The weddel seals chicks which have by now become adults will be found molting if spotted

Whales

December sees the arrival back of hungry humpback whales from tropical waters. Expect to spot fin, minke, orcas, southern right & sperm whales among others, all just beginning to arrive for the annual feeding season

Ocean Endeavour

Enjoy an intimate atmosphere aboard this small expedition ship, with a capacity of just 200. With one of the best expedition staff to passenger ratio (1:8), enjoy a very comfortable, active atmosphere on board

Cabins

Features 10 different categories of cabins, suitable for solos, couples, families with kids. Each cabin is spacious, comfortable and standard

Outdoor decks and lounges

With 2 lounges and 2 decks, enjoy ample of opportunities to sight wildlife or take in the beauty of the scenery outside

Large fleet of zodiacs

A large fleet of zodiacs enables all guests to be off the ship at one time. There are also two gangways on each side of the vessel for fast disembarkation
