Explore Quito

The Ecuadorian capital was the first UNESCO's World Heritage site. Built on ruins of a Inca city, the historic centre has the most extensive and best preserved Spanish American architecture, worth taking a stroll through

Cotopaxi National Park

See Ecuador's best kept secret - Cotopaxi Volcano. Among one of the world's highest active, with a snow-capped peak, the sight of it is so breath-taking, that many often forget the rest of journey ahead.

Explore the Eastern and Western Galápagos

Visit Baltra, Santa Fe, South Plaza, North Seymur, Bartolome, San Cristobal, Santiago, Española Islands. See the unique flora and fauna of each.

Landings

See various different kinds of site across different islands. Where our ship cannot reach, we make landings via small boats, or simply tour the region to watch for wildlife

Glass-bottom Boat Cruising

A unique activity available to only this expedition, observe marine-life and reefs from above, without getting in the water!

Kayaking

Sea kayaks are included on-board as part of the expedition experience. Paddle around Santa Fe, Española, Santa Cruz for some incredible experience

SUP Boarding

The ship also carries boards! The enthusiasts, can launch them in areas where waters are deemed suitable

Nature Walks

Walk amidst the silvery Palo Santo trees with their delicate incense scent on North Seymour, watch giant tortoises lumber through the undergrowth on Santa Cruz, or walk to the sea lion colony on SantaFe. There will be many such opportunities during the journey

Galápagos Giant Tortoises

Arguably the most iconic Galápagos animal! An estimated 20,000-25,000 inhibit the islands. Distinguished based on shell types, we will be on look out for both domed & saddle-backed carapace

Iguanas

These spiky-looking reptiles can be seen on several islands. Two species are endemic to Galapagos - marine and endangered pink iguana, of which only 200 are left

Galápagos Albatross

Considered critically endangered, they almost exclusively breed only on Española Island. With wing span of over 8 ft, sighting them is a delight for many birdlovers

Blue-Footed Boobies

Half of all breeding pairs of blue-footed boobies live on the Galapagos Islands. Many blink their eyes twice, when they also spot the less common Red-footed booby

And the other 'Big 15'

The unique defining factor of Galapagos are the wide range of species found only in this region. Apart from 4 species mentioned, also spot Galapagos penguins, sea lions, flamingos, hawks, fur seals.

MS Santa Cruz II

With capacity of just 90, it offers a safe, cozy and intimate experience. Because of its small size it can access hard-to-reach destinations
