Expedition Overview

With a two nights stay in charming city of Quito, Cusco and another night in Lima, this expedition provides the chance to tick off two of South America's wonders in one journey - Machu Picchu and Gálapagos. Post 5 days of land adventure, enjoy another five days of exploration and island hopping through western Gálapagos. The landings call at Isabela and Floreana, at the volcanic island of Fernandina, and the centrally located Santa Cruz Island. Enjoy lasting opportunities to see Gálapagos wildlife classic- sea lions, turtles, marine iguanas, giant tortoises, flamingos, Nazca and red-footed Boobies, and not to forget the iconic Darwin's finches

Lima, Peru

Lima to Cusco

Call Cusco your home for next two days as we explore the dwells of Inca empire

Machu Picchu

Quito, Ecuador

Arrive to the world's second-highest capital city, enjoy 2 nights stay

Day 6

Gálapagos, Ecuador

Fly to Galapagos' Baltra Airport to board your expedition ship. After a welcome, head to Dragon Hill

Day 7

Isabela & Fernandina Islands

Enjoy some snorkelling, watch out for boobies, Gálapagos penguins, green sea turtles. The marine iguanas await to catch your attention at Fernandina

Day 8

Santa Cruz Island

See the giant tortoises in the wild at Charles Darwis Research Station

Day 9

Floreana Islanda

Discover underwater life on a glass-bottom boat or dhingy, take a walk at crystal beach and lagoon

Landings

See various different kinds of site across different islands. Where our ship cannot reach, we make landings via small boats, or simply tour the region to watch for wildlife

Glass-bottom Boat Cruising

A unique activity available to only this expedition, observe marine-life and reefs from above, without getting in the water!

Kayaking

Sea kayaks are included on-board as part of the expedition experience. Paddle around Santa Fe, Española, Santa Cruz for some incredible experience

Snorkelling

There's all the snorkelling gear you’ll need to explore some pretty amazing places where you might see placid turtles, colourful fish, diving marine iguanas & curious sea lions performing underwater acrobatics. Wetsuits are available on hire.

Nature Walks

Walk on the white beaches Las Bechas, hike up to see colonies of birds, watch giant tortoises lumber through the undergrowth on Santa Cruz, or walk to the sea lion colony. There will be many such opportunities during the journey

Galápagos Giant Tortoises

Arguably the most iconic Galápagos animal! An estimated 20,000-25,000 inhibit the islands. Distinguished based on shell types, we will be on look out for both domed & saddle-backed carapace

Iguanas

These spiky-looking reptiles can be seen on several islands. Two species are endemic to Galapagos - marine and endangered pink iguana, of which only 200 are left

Blue-Footed Boobies

Half of all breeding pairs of blue-footed boobies live on the Galapagos Islands. Many blink their eyes twice, when they also spot the less common Red-footed booby

And the other 'Big 15'

The unique defining factor of Galapagos are the wide range of species found only in this region. Apart from 4 species mentioned, also spot Galapagos penguins, sea lions, flamingos, hawks, fur seals.

MS Santa Cruz II

With capacity of just 90, it offers a safe, cozy and intimate experience. Because of its small size it can access hard-to-reach destinations
