Join us on an adventure as we put on our skis and pulka, and head glacial landscape between Isforden and Kongsfjorden, far from civilisation and everyday life. This area is hard to get to, and is rarely visited even by snowmobiles. Here we will be able to enjoy the amazing silence of the Arctic, as we cover varied terrain over six magnificent days. Thanks to the midnight sun, we can set a comfortable tempo, and make the most of the never-ending days.
In coordination with Norwegian Institute of Public Health, WHO and local authorities, strict protocols are in place to ensure safety of all for stays, accommodations, food, activities, entries and exits. Our expedition consultant will walk you through in detail of these measures
Put on your skis & pulka, & head into an impressive area between two fjord valleys, far from civilisation & everyday life. Our route of approx 70 km takes us over massive glacier plateaus under the midnight sun
On the last day of skiing, we board a small ship to tour Ny Alesund, & head back to Longyearbyen. Good chance to experience the beautiful arctic waters!
Situated at 78o 55’ N, this is one of the world’s northernmost year-round communities. Previously a coal mining centre, it is now an advanced High Arctic research station. Enjoy a guided tour of this place
To participate, you must be an experienced skier. Everyday we aim to cover 10-15 km pulling a pulka with equipment weighing approx 30 kg. Guests are split into teams of 2 & you will each pull a pulka.
Enjoy the adventure of camp life. At the end of everyday, we will setup campsites where comfortable and safe. The days weather proves to be difficult, we will setup camp to rest our equipments, and go trekking in beautiful surrounding areas
As a participant on this expedition, be prepared to be a polar bear guard during a couple of nights. Enjoy wandering alone around the camp under the midnight sun while rest are asleep! An exotic experience. Many often ask for extra shifts just to experience this more
